Note:  	This document is meant to be a general overview of The DDE Tester
	and how to get started.  A more detailed help file and additional
	features are available in the registered Version - this version
	is however, fully functional for DDE testing, and is freely
	distributable. 


The DDE Tester is a utility program designed to let the user test
various DDE commands against another application which is acting as a
DDE Server.  It gives you the ability to send DDE Pokes, Executes, and
Requests.

To use The DDE Tester, the server application (i.e. Any Windows
application which can accept and process DDE commands) must be running.

The Application Name, Topic, and Topic Item are all required fields,
the values for which can be obtained from the Server application's
documentation.  The DDE Command/Text field is not required by the
program, but may be required by the Server application.  In order to
send a DDE command to a Server application, the above required fields
must be entered and the appropriate DDE Command type option selected.
The use then clicks the 'Send DDE Command' button which triggers The
DDE Tester to send the command to the Server application.  The results
DDE command (if any) will be displayed in the DDE Results box.

Example:
	Application Name  :	ACCESSW
	Application Topic :	TERM.ACD
	Application Item  :	T 5,10,5,21
	DDE Command Type  :	DDE Request
	DDE Command	  :	
	DDE Results	  :	hello there

	The above example will scrape the screen in the ACCESSW
	application starting at row 5 column 10 and ending at row 5
	column 21.  In this case the text 'hello there' is returned.
